Homecraft Local Touchpad for Revive and Apex Sauna Heaters

The Homecraft Local touchpad is the wall panel that runs a Homecraft Revive, Revive Slim or Apex sauna heater. It mounts outside the sauna room, gives you a 60-minute timer you can shorten to suit, and a temperature setting anywhere from 77°F to 194°F (25°C to 90°C), factory-set at 194°F. The overlay is UV-protected and the pad shrugs off cold, so it is at home on the outside wall of a barrel sauna as well as in a basement.

It plugs into the TKE2-2 contactor box with a low-voltage cable. If you are buying a new heater, choose the control on the heater page and it comes as a set; this listing is for a heater you already have: a replacement pad, or a pad for a TKE2-2 box you already own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this include the contactor box?
Leisurecraft lists this item as the touchpad. If your heater already has a Homecraft TKE2-2 contactor box, this is the only part you need: the pad plugs into the box you have and the wiring stays as it is. If you are buying a new heater, choose the Local control on the heater page and the complete control, box and wiring included, ships with it. Not sure what you have? Send us a photo of your box before you order and we will tell you.

Can it be mounted inside the sauna?
No. Homecraft designs the touchpad for the outside wall of the sauna room, where the heat cannot reach it and you can set the timer before you go in.

Will it work with my older Homecraft heater?
If your heater runs off a TKE2-2 or TKE3 contactor box, yes. This is the current version of the pad Homecraft used to call the Regular touchpad.

Can I upgrade to the WiFi touchpad later?
Yes. The WiFi touchpad plugs into the same contactor box, so you can swap the pad without touching the heater wiring.

What is the difference between the Local and the WiFi touchpad?
Both give you the 60-minute timer and the 77-194°F range. The WiFi pad adds a phone app, so you can start the sauna remotely and run it on a calendar schedule.
