HUUM UKU 4.2 Wi-Fi Sauna Heater Control with Mobile App
The HUUM UKU 4.2 Wi-Fi is the current generation of HUUM's sauna control system. Heat the sauna from the wall-mounted panel, or start it from the HUUM mobile app on your way home, set the temperature and the finish time, and walk into a sauna that is ready. UKU 4.2 adds a second sensor at bench level, a heat-rated single-cable install, and an upgraded door sensor kit over the previous UKU.
Choose the black panel or the wood panel. The black panel installs outside the sauna room; the wood panel can be mounted inside the sauna, away from the heater.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the control panel be mounted inside the sauna?
The wood panel can, as long as it is away from the heater with its top edge no higher than 40 inches from the floor and at least 20 inches from any exhaust vent. The black panel is installed outside the sauna room.
What changed from the previous UKU to the UKU 4.2?
The UKU 4.2 replaces the single temperature sensor with two: a safety sensor above the heater that handles overheat protection, and an optional bench sensor that reads temperature and humidity where you sit. It also ships with one heat-resistant cable for the panel, sensors and door sensor, and an upgraded door sensor kit.
Which heaters does the UKU 4.2 work with?
Any HUUM electric sauna heater up to 11 kW connects directly. For 12 to 18 kW heaters, add the HUUM UKU Extension Box.
Do I have to install both sensors?
The safety sensor is required. The bench sensor is optional, but with it installed the panel shows the real bench-level temperature and allows a maximum setting of 194°F; with the safety sensor alone the maximum is 230°F.
Where does the main module go?
Outside the sauna room, mounted upright on a wall. If it is outdoors it needs a weatherproof enclosure. The module runs down to -40°F, and the cable to the control panel can be up to 50 feet.
Does the Wi-Fi need anything special?
A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network at the sauna. The HUUM app then lets you start, schedule and monitor the sauna from anywhere.
Can it run my sauna lights or a steamer?
Yes. The main module has outputs for lights, ventilation and a steamer, all controlled from the panel or the app.
