Will the Mesa 63" fit in my bathroom?

The unit is 63" wide, 63" deep and 89" tall, so allow at least 91" of ceiling height for the exhaust vent on top. It is a corner unit, so it sits with two sides against the walls. Measure the floor space and the doorway you will carry the crates through before ordering — call or text Tim at 917-334-6022 with your measurements and he will confirm the fit.

How hard is the assembly and installation?

It arrives as a complete kit — enclosure panels, base, roof, steam generator and control panel — and bolts together; plan on two people to move the crates and stand the panels. A licensed plumber connects the hot and cold supply and the drain, and a licensed electrician makes the electrical connection; the manufacturer requires both for the warranty to apply.

What electrical service does it need?

This model needs a 220V dedicated circuit with two 20A dual-pole breakers. The steam generator is rated 3 kW. A licensed electrician should run the circuit and, where required, the GFCI protection.

What plumbing hookups are required?

Standard household plumbing: a hot and a cold supply line and a floor drain. There is no boiler or remote steam room to build — the generator is inside the unit. Any licensed local plumber can connect it.

How is it delivered?

Free insured freight delivery to your curb, in 2 crates. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window. Have a second person available to move the crates inside, and inspect every crate for damage before you sign the delivery receipt.

How many people fit inside?

It is a 2-person unit at 63" wide by 63" deep with built-in seating.

Does the jetted tub work on its own?

Yes. The whirlpool tub and the steam shower are independent — you can take a bath, a steam session, or both. It needs two circuits: one for the steam generator, one for the tub pump.

What warranty is included?

The manufacturer covers structural components — peeling, fading, delaminating and cracking — for 7 years, and parts for 1 year; jetted-tub parts are covered for 5 years. Installation must be done by a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician for the warranty to apply.

How is this different from the Mesa 61" Corner Steam Shower Tub Combo?

The Mesa 61" Corner Steam Shower Tub Combo is 60.6" wide instead of 63" and 60.6" deep instead of 63". Both ship complete with the steam generator, seat and controls, and both carry the same warranty. I want to tell you my story. After the Steam generator went down and need to replace a heating element, I ordered one after contacting the manufacturer to make sure I will get the correct one. But I got a wrong part with no option to connect a manual reset that also I need to replace. Thanks God I found Tim and his Modernsaunaspa.com. He went way beyond any expectations to work with Delta to get a right heating element the required some modifications to be done. We were and still are in constant communication. I knew every step of what is going on when Tim was working the manufacturer, that is nice. Even after the wrong element sent again, Tim pushed them to do it right and all parts included the manual rest came quick. Another thing is: when I order a new Steam generator, as we have a few steam rooms, I expect to get it in about 4 weeks, but thanks to Tim, I got it in a week that made all the members of my Center are very happy. People love to use the Steam room. I very recommend contacting Tim if you need a new equipment or having issues with the existing one. You will not be disappointed.
