Mr. Steam 15 PSI Safety Valve 3/4"
If for some reason the generator builds up to 15 pounds of pressure (which is extremely rare), the valve will pop open and relieve the pressure.
The Mr.Steam 15 PSIG Safety Valve 3/4" Outlet is required as a safety pressure control on MS, SUPER, MAX, Steam@Home Residential and CU, CT, CX Commercial Steam Shower Generators. This valve would typically be piped to a floor drain in the generator installation area.
This valve should be inspected routinely along with all additional components during your routine maintenance schedule.
