The flat-roof edition of the Gargellen trades the line's traditional peaked cabin for a clean, modern silhouette — a black flat roof over natural Canadian Hemlock, closer in spirit to the contemporary cube saunas showing up in high-end backyards right now, sized to host the whole family. It's built on the same switchable heating this hybrid line is known for: an 8.0 kW traditional stove for a 170–190°F session, or PureTech™ Full Spectrum infrared for a lower, gentler 118–140°F recovery session — effectively two saunas in one cabin, no compromise required.
Inside, bronze privacy glass keeps the interior shielded from view without blocking light, chromotherapy lighting sets the mood, and a built-in Bluetooth sound system rounds out the experience. Precision-fit panel construction means a two-person crew can have it fully assembled in an afternoon — no contractor, no permit process, no demolition.
How many people fit in the Gargellen flat-roof?
Five adults comfortably — the interior is 74" W x 53" D x 81" H.
What electrical service does this sauna need?
A single 240V/40AMP circuit runs both the stove and the infrared system. Have a licensed electrician confirm the run before delivery.
How does switching between the stove and infrared work?
The Gargellen runs two heat sources in one cabin: an 8.0 kW traditional stove for a 170–190°F session, or 10 Full Spectrum IR emitters (4 Carbon PureTech™ Near Zero EMF panels, 6 Near Infrared elements) for a gentler 118–140°F recovery session. Switch between them any time — no separate purchase.
What's the difference between this and the original Gargellen?
This is the 2026 flat-roof edition — the same 5-person Hemlock cabin and switchable heating, with a modern black flat roof instead of the original peaked roofline. We also carry the original peaked-roof Gargellen.
How does delivery work?
It ships freight via curbside LTL delivery, the same way as the rest of the Golden Designs outdoor line — the carrier calls to schedule an appointment, and panels are sized for a two-person carry.
What's included?
The 8.0 kW stove, the Full Spectrum IR system, chromotherapy and backrest accent lighting, a built-in Bluetooth/FM sound system, and a sandglass, bucket, and scoop. Sauna stones ship with the stove.
